Functional Tune-up

Full oil and lube gears, check and clean bobbin case and hook assy, calibrate bobbin tension, presser bar height adjustment, feed dog adjustment, check handwheel stop motion works, check belt, grease motor, check brushes, clean gears, feed dogs, exterior wipe down, interior dust and debris removal

Buff and Shine

Exterior, clean and wax, including motor, polish face plate, needle plate, thread take-up lever, upper tension assy, bobbin winder, presser foot lever, stitch length lever and handwheel chrome

Interior Detailing

Clean out old oil from sides and parts, re-oil, bottom sewing head, and top cavities

Basic Motor Checkout

Check brushes, clean out old grease and add new grease, clean exterior

Full Service Motor Checkout

Replace grease wicks and brushes (if needed), clean out inside, clean and buff commutator, replace wiring as needed, fill grease tubes

Replace feet, check wiring, remove any capacitors, clean inside and calibrate range of travel

Sewing Head “Spa”

Hook assembly, bobbin case and feed dogs, clean and polish. Calibrate tension, polish presser foot bar presser foot lever, cover plate, needle plate, tension assy, and thread take-up lever, clean inside of head area, full oil of head, adjustment of presser bar and feed dogs

Electrical Checkout

Verify insulation and replace as needed, clean terminals in terminal block, clean oil in wiring area, check and replace terminals as needed

Remove and dispose of any lead oxide, encase lead tube in marine grade, oil-resistant shrink tubing
